CST Advanced Techniques Level 1 - The Fascial System

Prerequisites:  You must have taken Craniosacral Levels 1 or instructor permission if you have completed Craniosacral training elsewhere.

This class is based on techniques that I have developed myself and through working with patients, as well as techniques and ways of thinking that I have learned from Kelly Clancy, OT, especially those related to Tom Meyer’s Anatomy Trains. It is a direct continuation of what we did at Bastyr’s Level 1 class, and reflects more closely how I currently work in the body.

The first day of this class including new techniques for working in the pelvis, helping calm the sciatic and brachial plexus nerves, and more specific techniques for membrane release in the head.

The second day is dedicated to Tom Myer's Anatomy Trains, and to using CST within that framework. We will be exploring CST and Anatomy Trains with emphasis on different parts of the body, in particular shoulders and pelvis/hip.

The third day of the class is dedicated to CS spinal adjustment. Emphasis is made on the soft tissue elements of the spine, only "adjusting" the vertebrae after all else is nice and loose. This includes ligaments, discs, ribs and finally vertebrae. This is an integrated approach that includes all the different parts of the spine to optimize function.
